Timothy E. Davis, Jr., also known as Ted Davis, joined BioTissue as President and CEO in January 2022. Davis most recently served as President and CEO for the past five years of Active Implants, LLC, a medical device company focused on the knee preservation segment of sports medicine. He spent a decade in the life sciences venture capital field early on in his career, then transitioned into operational leadership roles at Wright Medical Technology and MicroPort Orthopedics before joining Active Implants. Davis serves on the Board of Directors for Axis Spine Technologies, Ltd., SIbone, Inc, and Active Implants. Mr. Davis received a B.E. degree in Biomedical Engineering from Vanderbilt University and an M.B.A. from the J.L. Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University.
