Eric D. Donnenfeld, MD

Dr. Eric Donnenfeld is a world-renowned ophthalmologist recognized internationally for his expertise in refractive, corneal, and cataract surgery. A graduate of Dartmouth College & Dartmouth Medical School, he completed his residency at Manhattan Eye, Ear, & Throat Hospital, and fellowship at Wills Eye Hospital. A founding partner of Ophthalmic Consultants of Long Island, Dr. Donnenfeld has served as President of the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery (ASCRS), the International Intraocular Implant Club (IIIC), and the Ocular Microbiology and Immunology Group (OMIG). He is a clinical professor of Ophthalmology at New York University and a trustee of Dartmouth Medical School. Dr. Donnenfeld was recognized on Ophthalmology Management’s 25 Leaders in Innovation list and was named to The Ophthalmologist’s Power List multiple times, including 2025. Dr. Donnenfeld was named America’s Best Eye Doctor in 2021, 2022, and 2023 by Newsweek Magazine.

Marjan Farid, MD
UCI Health | Irvine, CA
Dr. Marjan Farid is a board-certified ophthalmologist & Clinical Professor at the University of California, Irvine’s Gavin Herbert Eye Institute, where she serves as Director of Cornea, Cataract, & Refractive Surgery & Vice Chair of Ophthalmic Faculty, and co-founded UCI’s Severe Ocular Surface Disease Center, designated a Center of Excellence by the Holland Foundation for Sight Restoration in 2023. She received her medical degree from UC San Diego, completed an internship at Scripps Mercy, and returned to UC Irvine for her ophthalmology residency & fellowship in cornea & external disease. Dr. Farid specializes in corneal transplantation, limbal stem cell grafts, artificial corneas, and treatment of severe ocular surface disease, with a strong research focus on innovations in corneal surgery & dry eye management. Dr. Farid has served as Chair of the Cornea Clinical Committee for the ASCRS, and was honored with the Roger Steinert, MD, Legacy Award at the 2024 Octane Ophthalmology Tech Forum.

Paul Karpecki, OD
Kentucky Eye Institute | Lexington, KY
Dr. Paul Karpecki is a nationally recognized optometrist with over 30 years of leadership in clinical optometry, education, and ocular disease management. He currently serves as Director of Cornea & External Disease at the Kentucky Eye Institute, and as Chief Clinical Editor for Review of Optometry. A pioneer in dry eye & ocular surface disease, Dr. Karpecki has authored over 1,000 articles and lectured extensively across the US and internationally. He has served or advised numerous influential committees and organizations, including the Tear Film & Ocular Surface Society’s (TFOS) DEWS II & DEWS III reports, contributing to the development of global standards of care for dry eye disease. Dr. Karpecki is also a trusted advisor to multiple industry boards and continues to shape the future of ocular surface disease management through his clinical leadership & collaborative research efforts.

Francis Mah, MD
Scripps Health | La Jolla, CA
Dr. Francis Mah is the Director of Cornea & External Disease, and Co-Director of Refractive Surgery at Scripps Clinic in San Diego. A graduate of Dartmouth College & Medical College of Ohio at Toledo, he completed his residency at University of Pittsburgh Medical Center (UPMC), where he was elected chief resident. Dr. Mah also completed his cornea & refractive surgery fellowship at UPMC. Dr. Mah is nationally recognized for his leadership in anterior segment surgery & ocular infectious disease, having authored over 100 publications, and served as principal investigator in numerous clinical trials. He previously served as Associate Professor of Ophthalmology & Pathology, and Medical Director of The Charles T. Campbell Ophthalmic Microbiology Laboratory at UPMC. Dr. Mah is currently serving as president of the ASCRS, is a past chair of the ASCRS Cornea Clinical Committee, and a member of the FDA Committee. He received the Distinguished Service Award from the American Academy of Ophthalmology.

Selina McGee, OD, FAAO

Dr. Selina McGee is the Visionary Founder and Owner of BeSpoke Vision. She is a nationally recognized expert at the intersection of ocular aesthetics, dry eye disease, and leadership in modern eyecare. She leads with intention and empowers doctors to implement confidently, lead authentically, and elevate both patient outcomes and the profession itself. As the founder of BeSpoke Vision and a dynamic keynote speaker, she redefines what’s possible—one doctor, one patient, one vision at a time.
Dr. McGee is an Adjunct Assistant Professor at the Northeastern State University College of Optometry. She serves as a clinical investigator at the Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation. Dr. McGee previously served as past President of the Intrepid Eye Society and the Secretary of the Board of Examiners in Oklahoma. She is a Fellow of the American Academy of Optometry and a Diplomate of the American Board of Optometry, and is past President of the Oklahoma Association of Optometric Physicians and past Trustee on the SECO Board. Most recently she was named OD of the South and OD of the year in Oklahoma. She is the Co-Medical Editor of Modern Optometry. Dr. McGee earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology (where she graduated Summa Cum Laude) and Doctor of Optometry (also Summa Cum Laude) from Northeastern State University Oklahoma College of Optometry.
