Dr. Gina Ciarmiello graduated from the Pennsylvania College of Optometry at Salus University with honors and as a member of the Beta Sigma Kappa Honor Society in 2014. After graduating, she spent time in private practice optometry, performing comprehensive eye examinations along with treating ocular diseases. Before coming to Cornea Consultants, she was the Clinical Director at TLC Laser Eye Centers, where she worked with Dr. Robert Schultze and Dr. Robert Eden on various LASIK cases perfecting outcomes and specializing in patient satisfaction. Now that she is with Cornea Consultants, she performs LASIK evaluations as well as practicing full-scope optometry. Working under Dr. Schultze and Dr. Eden, Dr. Ciarmiello has gained an abundance of knowledge and experience in diagnosing and treating corneal diseases. One of her main areas of focus is treating dry eye involving a wide array of state-of-the-art treatment options, including Intense Pulsed Light therapy, Lipiflow and use of cryopreserved amniotic membranes, e.g. Prokera^® and CAM360 AmnioGraft^TM.
